What Is an Optional Straddle?

A short explanation of the straddle setting used in cash-game configuration.

How To

  1. A straddle is an optional blind wager posted before cards are dealt, usually by the player immediately left of the big blind.
  2. It effectively increases the stakes for that hand and typically gives the straddling player the final pre-flop action.
  3. Enable the setting only when your house/game rules permit straddles, and configure the amount appropriate for your game.
